Centre for Community Partnerships (CCP)
The Centre for Community Partnerships works with community organizations to develop defined, sustainable, and action-oriented partnerships for students at all three University of Toronto campuses. These partnerships simultaneously build educational capacity within communities of the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) and Peel regions and they broaden and enhance student learning through a variety of programming that enhances student learning of the social, cultural, ethical, and political dimensions of civic life. For more information please visit the CCP Website.
Aboriginal Community Liaison, Marilyn Johnson assists ABS faculty and staff with incorporating Community Engaged Learning into their curriculum. Community Engaged Learning is one of the programs affiliated with the CCP; it is a credit-bearing educational experience that under the best of circumstances focuses equally on the student and a community agency.
